These reviews are all real - trust me! I did a LOT of research when I accepted that I needed a full mouth restoration. Reading about many outstanding personal experiences on Reddit led me to take the first step with Done in One, with a video consult with Dr. Laks. She answered every question with precision and confidence. After that, I took some time to consider all my options, during which Done in One did NOT put on an all-court sales press. At this point they had my email and phone number, but they simply followed up my video consult with a message saying 'Let us know if you have any more questions!'Once I committed to the process and paid my deposit, the front office staff (shout out to Erica!) was extremely helpful with all the arrangements, and tons of advice about what to expect, what to bring, and how to plan my stay for maximum comfort. Soon enough, the day of my surgery arrived. For people whose primary concern is pain: I had NO pain at all during the procedure. You are throughly numbed up and can't even tell what they're doing in there. It also doesn't take that long! Extracting every tooth and placing the 8 implants took about 90 minutes. From that point, there is, of course, some bleeding (you'll have a mouthful of guaze the rest of the day) and swelling, and what I would call general soreness - but not serious pain. I took the vicodin as scheduled, but that was really just to stay on top of any pain (all reviews say to 'stay ahead of pain' by taking the meds).A word about Dr. Dan: this is his passion. There are teeth beyond saving, and if you're reading this review or considering full-mouth implants, that probably applies to you. It doesn't matter WHY your teeth are in this shape. It doesn't matter if you had bad dentists, bad luck, or were guilty of neglecting your teeth or were afraid of the dentist, like I was. Dr. Dan will simply hit the reset button for you and give you a fresh start with brand new, virtually indestructible zirconia teeth. He is an amazing person. And now for the fun part: getting new teeth! Everyone at Done in One is excellent, but Nadia was recommended to me and I highly recommend her in turn. The day after surgery, you get your first set of temporary teeth. These are 3D printed and are not going to be perfect. They just use these to start working on your final smile design. Based on your feedback and their recommendations, they can change everything - the size, color, and shape of the teeth, the fit on the gums, how much gum you want to show when you smile, etc. Your second set of temps, which you get the next day, will be based on these choices. At every appointment, Nadia is checking your bite, looking at every angle, taking pictures for reference, and putting everything together in her mind. She's an artist! My third temps were perfect, so these were 3D scanned and sent to the lab for the final zirconias. You live with the temps a few days until the finals are ready. You're still healing during this time. I was in no pain but definitely had swelling, and not a lot of energy. Rest! This is major surgery. When you aren't at your appointments, you should be resting.I can't emphasize this last part enough: the final teeth feel 100 TIMES better than the temps. They are porcelain base/zirconia teeth and are as smooth as glass. The 3D prints feel a little rough and you're not going to be totally comfortable in them. It's just part of the process. But the finals...amazing! I left my final appointment and then next day, drove 9 hours back to Raleigh in total comfort. I still have some healing to do, but already feel pretty much like my old self - only with perfect teeth. There are lots of other options that require you to be in temps for 3 or even 6 months. DO NOT DO THIS! If you're committed to an all-on-four procedure, Done in One is the only place to do it. The materials are the best, the downtown Boca Raton location is the best, and, most importantly, the people are the best. Done in One changed my life! I will forever be grateful.
